L.D. BELL WINS FOURTH PLACE
AT BANDS OF AMERICA
GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS


The L.D.Bell Band from Hurst, TX received a Division I rating in preliminary competition at the 2001 Bands of America Grand National Championships on Friday.

In the Semi-Finals competition on Saturday, November 10th the Blue Raiders won the Outstanding Music Performance caption and took Second Place in Class AAA competition. Eighty nine bands competed in the preliminaries with thirty four bands advancing to Semi-Finals.

In the Finals, the Blue Raiders took fourth place over all with a score of 95.85. L.D. Bell was also named the winner of the Outstanding Music Performance award in the finals.
